Identify the transaction
Choose invoice or quote, add a document number, dates and both parties. Include addresses and tax identifiers where your business requires them. A quote describes a proposed charge; an invoice records an amount due. Choose the correct document for the stage of work.
Review the arithmetic
For each line, quantity times unit price is reduced by the line discount, rounded to the currency minor unit, and then taxed at the entered exclusive rate. The tax amount is rounded per line. Subtotal plus tax gives the total, and the entered payment reduces the balance. Verify that this approach matches your accounting practice.
Export responsibly
Print the preview or use your browser save-as-PDF option, then check page breaks before sending. The Excel export includes the entered details and calculated totals. This general template does not validate tax law, issue government invoice numbers, submit GST returns or generate compliant e-invoices.
