Advertising, Sponsorship & Affiliate Disclosure
Advora is free to read. The site is funded by advertising, sponsorships and, in future, related commercial products. This page explains how that works and where the line sits.
Display advertising
Direct sponsorships
Brands may sponsor sections, newsletters or events. Sponsored placements are always labelled ("Sponsored", "Partner content" or "In association with"), in line with ASCI's guidelines on disclosure of advertisements. Sponsors receive visibility, never editorial control: they do not see, edit or approve news and analysis, and sponsorship does not affect how we cover the sponsor or its competitors.
Sponsored and partner content
Paid articles, if published, are written or commissioned separately from the news desk, labelled at the top of the page, and excluded from our news feeds' claim of independence. We decline sponsored content that requires us to state things we do not believe to be true.
Affiliate links
Some articles and tool pages may contain affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine our verdicts: we recommend and rank based on editorial assessment, and we say so when a link is affiliate ("This page contains affiliate links"). If a page carries no such note, its links are not affiliate links.
Directories and listings (future)
If we introduce paid listings (for example featured placement in an agency or tools directory), payment will buy visibility labelled as "Featured" and will never buy position in editorial rankings, reviews or awards.
Free products and access
If we receive free access to a tool or product for review, the review says so. Free access never guarantees a positive review.
