Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on advora.media.

What we use ourselves (first party)

We aim to keep this minimal: (a) strictly necessary items for the site to function and stay secure; (b) preference storage in your browser's localStorage, such as your chosen display currency in our tools and links you save in the UTM Builder, which stays on your device and is not sent to us; (c) basic, privacy-respecting page-view counting used to understand which articles are read, without building profiles of individual visitors. Staff authentication uses cookies in the editorial area. The public view counter uses a signed first-party cookie lasting up to one year and daily, page-specific hashed identifiers to avoid repeated counts. Tool feedback uses a separate first-party cookie lasting up to one year to remember a pseudonymous vote. The counter respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control; these signals do not constitute a site-wide consent control.

Third-party cookies (advertising and embeds)

If the site shows ads served by partners such as Google AdSense, those partners may set cookies to serve ads, limit repetition, measure performance and, only where you have consented, personalise ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits; you can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and learn more at google.com/policies/technologies/ads. Some articles embed third-party content (for example YouTube videos or social posts); those platforms may set their own cookies when the embed loads. Social embeds load after you choose to load them. We also load Google Tag Manager on public pages; it makes requests to Google, and any additional analytics or cookies depend on the tags configured in that container.

Consent

The site does not currently provide its own cookie-consent banner or preference centre. Browser controls described below are available now. Before enabling advertising or other non-essential tracking that requires consent, we will need to configure an appropriate consent mechanism. Google Tag Manager loading is not currently gated by a site-provided consent choice.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and clear localStorage at any time; the site will still work, though tool preferences will reset and some embeds may not load.
