Keep campaign spending on course

Enter cumulative spend through the end of the selected day. Compare it with an even daily plan, then see what remains. Changing currency only changes the label.

02 / THE EXPLAINER

The method behind the result.

Set the reporting cutoff

Enter the campaign budget, start and end dates, and cumulative spend through the end of a selected day. Both campaign dates count as active days. Use complete days rather than partial-day platform reports so the comparison is meaningful.

Read the pacing measures

Planned spend equals total budget multiplied by elapsed campaign days divided by total campaign days. A pace above 100% means spending is ahead of that even plan. Remaining daily spend divides the unused budget by the days after the selected date. Overspend does not become a negative suggested daily budget.

Use projections as scenarios

Projected final spend extends the observed average daily spend across the entire campaign. It is not a forecast of auction supply, conversions or performance. Before launch the projection is undefined; after the campaign there is no remaining daily allocation. Export the worksheet to document your review.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before you put your result to work.

01Does this connect to ad accounts?

No. Enter cumulative spend from your reporting source.

02Is today included?

Yes, as a completed day. Choose yesterday when using a report through yesterday.

03What if the campaign has ended?

The remaining-day allocation is unavailable, while final spend and variance remain visible.

04Does changing currency convert values?

No. It changes the label only. Use amounts in the same currency.

05Can I plan uneven spending?

This version compares against an even daily baseline. Promotions and planned bursts need a separate custom schedule.
